ESTABLISHED IN MAY 1992 BY THE PEOPLE OF THE AMHARA REGION AS A
NON-PROFIT MAKING AND NON-GOVERNMENTAL INDIGENOUS ORGANIZATION.
Vision
To see the people of the Amhara Region free from poverty & backwardness and aspire to be a forerunner in this development endeavor.
Mission
To support the development endeavors of the Amhara people in the areas of health, education, basic skill training and other development activities, through community participation by mobilizing Resources from members, supporters, donors and other sources.
Objectives
  1. To alleviate the poverty and backwardness of the Amhara people by promoting health, education and other infrastructure services.
  2. To promote and support the all rounded development efforts of the Amhara people to attain self-reliance by providing financial, material and technical assistance.
  3. To collaborate with governmental and non-governmental organizations working to the betterment of the livelihood of Amhara people.
  4. To encourage the initiative of investors who are particularly interested to invest in economic and social sectors of the region.
  5. To preserve and protect the natural, historical and cultural, heritage of the various peoples of the Amhara Region, and enrich their language and national identity.

SOLOMON TADESSE
Ato solomon Tadesse , the Executive Director of ADA ,has worked as:

= Deputy Head for Amhara Region Education Bureau.
